things i've learned (about myself) during the first 3 months of marriage...

~ obligatory honeymoon selfies // December 2012 ~

...i have a tendency to keep the dresser drawers half open

...my shoes have a way of crawling out from under the bed

...i leave empty glasses and mugs all over the apartment and forget to take them back to the kitchen

...i continue to be a blanket-stealer

...i laugh in my sleep

...cooking doesn't stress me out if i am cooking with Ryan

...when we grate cheese for dinner, i have no self-control what so ever with snacking on the cheese - well, with snacking on anything we are preparing. period.

...i am the only person Ryan knows who laughs at her own jokes as hard as i laugh at mine

...i squeeze toothpaste up from the top of the tube versus the bottom

...the Kroger version of Aveeno lotion is just as good as the legit brand

...life is more fun if you play Candy Crush together with spouse

...when i tell Ryan 5 more minutes when i'm blogging or answering emails, it really means 30 more minutes

much love.

  3. Your next post should be titled- things I've learned from being married to a Butler. You could probably do an entire series already.

  6. i totally laugh at my own jokes. i was concerned maybe its because im the only one around but you've just confirmed that we're both just hilarious.

also, you laugh in your sleep. that is amazing.

and i do the same thing with the toothpaste...squeezing from the bottom takes too much effort.

  8. It's amazing how much you learn about yourself when you get married!
I squeeze the toothpaste tube from the middle too...
and I've definitely come to appreciate store brand over certain name brands,
mostly because my husband spent a whole lot of time convincing me some store brands are just as good.
    This was a cute post!

  9. So so cute! Happy being married. Seriously, my hubs and I will celebrate our 10th anniversary this summer and I would do it 100x's over. It isn't always easy-- but it's always an adventure-- and I'm always with my best friend! :D

  11. Aaack Candy Crush! It would be more fun with the hubby! We love doing 94 seconds and 4 pics 1 word together too. Everything is better together! Something we've also been doing is learning the beauty of taking a break. I have a hard time just letting an argument go, but sometimes a break is needed and so good!Love this post!

  15. Tell Ryan the laughing in your sleep has been going on since high school. I remember sleep overs where I thought you were awake but were asleep, laughing lol. I leave drawers open and glasses and mugs around the house too. And my kids have picked up some of my habits. Oops!
