this week has been a little slower paced than most. the orders have slowed down quite a bit lately, leaving me time to catch up and get recharged - from organizing and cleaning up the apartment to writing for fun, and  also reading new books. Ryan didn't work yesterday so we had the day to spend together. we ran some errands and even made a pit stop at the little park in the neighborhood since the temperatures warmed up quite a bit. the park is mainly a pond where the geese like to congregate, surrounded by a couple benches and wooden swings. (by the way did you know that a flock or group of geese - at least five of them - are called a gaggle? fun fact of the day by the husband!) with it being in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, we had the park to ourselves and enjoyed the peacefulness.

Ryan said he liked to come here a lot to think and pray about us and our future when we were still long-distance. it makes the place even more special since we can come and enjoy it together anytime that we want.
