loving: life right now. because i am finally together with my best friend, my husband, starting out our life together in Atlanta. we literally just got back from our second honeymoon (seriously, he is too goo to me!) and will be settling into our apartment in Atlanta. a part of me is sad that all the vacations are over and the holiday season has completely passed, but another part of me is super excited to see what unfolds in the coming days in the start of our new life together!

watching: i might have already mentioned this before - but i am completely hooked onto The Walking Dead. i never thought i'd go the route of zombies - vampires, yet but heck, not zombies! - but my goodness, the characters and the storyline of this series seriously has been blowing my mind. no pun intended. no wonder so many of you have been egging me on to watch this series - i can see why now!

wishing:  for my camera to get fixed. the poor little guy stopped working on me over the Christmas break, flashing a dreaded error message. we made it Best Buy yesterday who suggested i stop in to a local camera store - so hopefully, they can help me out. they mentioned it could either take 20 min to solve the problem - or possibly mail it out and wait for 3 weeks to roll around until they can actually figure out what is wrong with it. praying and crossing all fingers and toes that they can solve it in 20 minutes, thank you.

eating: i have been addicted to apples lately. i have always liked apples but for some reason, every night while we were at the beach house, i had a craving to eat theme very evening around eight o'clock. so Ryan made sure we stocked up on apples during our time at the beach. uh-oh. i just looked at the clock. it's almost eight p.m. as i right this, Ryan might need to make a grocery run for me.

reading: gah. what a slow couple of months it's been for me reading-wise. i am in the middle of Reached, the third book in the Matched series - and i don't know if it's 'cause of the busyness of everything, but i have not been able to stick with it. i'm thinking it does have to do with the craziness of life the past couple of weeks, so i'm going to re-start it. also my mother-in-law gave me a copy of Gone Girl - i've heard mixed reviews on it, so i'm excited to dive into that one really soon.

looking forward to: like i said, i'm excited about settling into my new life - but i also look forward to getting back into the routine of what is familiar. i re-opened up my shop yesterday and orders started to trickle in, so i am excited to start sewing away again. i also feel the re-charge gave me spurts of inspiration that i have needed for creative and writing projects! can't wait to share more of those soon enough.

how about you, my friend? what is currently on your mind, on your bookshelf, in your tummy, or on your television? i love reading currently lists, too, so be sure to include your link if you type one up! and as always, my currently posts are inspired by the wonderful Danielle of Sometimes Sweet

much love.
{happy wednesday, friend.}

  12. I had a hard time with Reached, it just seemed to drag for me. But I had to finish and know what happened, of course.

    I'm nearly done with Gone Girl. It's good but really dark. I'm kind of loving it though!

    Atlanta sounds really nice! I visited when I was a youngster but never returned since I'm of age to explore the city now. I will be soon though.

    Have fun!

    I hope you're finding good apples, because the ones in Indiana are a bit "eh" right now, but they go oh so well with cheese.

  19. Your camera may have just got something in the lens or the lens has moved out of position which is why the error page is coming up, my Canon Powershot did the same to me just before christmas. I went in to my local camera store and told me it would cost about £50-£100 to get it fixed, so i just bought a new one! Hopefully yours is just a 20 minute job though :)
    I think i'll have to have a read of the Gone Girl!
