i have been meaning to do this post for awhile - and a comment from a friend the other day reminded me that this was long over due. if you are anything like me, i need a dynamic music playlist when i go for a hardcore workout at the gym. no music, no workout. seriously. i am unmotivated without the pounding of the bass in my ears to match the racing of my pulse and the pace of my muscles. so here are my top favorite workout songs to get me moving (no particular order):
1. Gangman Style : PSY
2. Titanium (feat. Sia) : David Guetta
3. Whyyouwannabringmedown : Kelly Clarkson
4. Where Have You Been : Rhianna
5. Want U Back : Cher Llyod
6. Blow : Kesha
7. Back in Time (From Men in Black) : Pitbull
8. Domino - Jessie J
9. Lightning - The Wanted
10. Hello : Karmin
hope that help some of you out - that's almost a full workout playlist right there!
and i'm always looking for new heart-racing music myself - what are some of your favorites?!

oh and real quick in other news, i am road-tripping with some friends tomorrow to see this handsome face:
photo is an oldie, but i think still a goodie. it was taken back in 2007 during our earlier months of dating - such fond memories! - at The Bean in Chicago.
i am super excited to see him and excited to just have a weekend to get away for a little bit.
have a mah-velous weekend, friends!
much love.
{happy friday, friend.}
