birthdays are for busting your britches.

my birthday was full of good things (including pumpkin pie ice cream and Once Upon a Time on my birthday eve with our friend Arianna, random dancing in the living room, and even an extra hard work out at the gym to make room for all of the bday goodies). and i couldn't be happier by the love people expressed to me - whether through gifts, cards, phone calls, texts, blog comments, twitter and facebook. i feel very loved. and as i sit here in my PJs and in my bed about to call it a night, i also feel very full.

i'm talking about my stomach. so family tradition calls for the birthday celebrant to pick out their restaurant of choice for their birthday dinner. this year i picked out The Olive Garden. yes, their pasta is good, but oh, i could die for their bread and their salad. and i always make the poor choice of eating too much bread, so i end up already being too full when my entree comes. either way, it was worth it! we ate too much, laughed too hard, and just had a grande ole time. and even though we were busting out of our britches, we made a necessary stop for birthday donuts at Dunkin Donuts.

and guess what?! the party is just getting started! one of my sweet friends is taking me out for a birthday dinner tomorrow (we were supposed to celebrate over the weekend but i was sick with that dang cold). and then this Friday, i am road-tripping it out to celebrate with my Ryan! i am also thinking that some shopping damage needs to happen with my collection of bday gift cards - score!

oh, and thank you for all the sweet love you all sent me either on yesterday's post and via twitter. i feel super blessed to be a part of this community. thanks a million, you awesome people that i am honored to call friends! thanks for rocking my face off! (note: could i use anymore exclamation points in this post alone?!!!!!)

much love.
{happy tuesday, friend.}
