finding a place in the state of South Carolina that makes taro bubble tea with extra tapioca.
yes, it was 2 hours away and no, it wasn't good at the bubble teas that i had back in Chicago, but in that moment, who cares?! it was the closest to it - it was taro flavor (nothing like it!) and it was bubble tea for crying out loud. bubble tea is not an every day occurrence for us.
so yea, this is a big deal.
hope something sends you over the moon just as much (if not more) this upcoming weekend, folks!
here's to a happy weekend to us all!
much love.

ReplyDeleteaw, thanks! it's basically an iced drink with different flavors you can choose from - and it has tapioca balls in it! you need to try it when you can. :)
DeleteAw, I would trade you 5 Bubble Teas for one ChikFilA sandwich. Promise. Love you. :)

ReplyDeleteHehe, I absolutely love boba but these days I've been laying off the sweets in hopes of losing more weight. It doesn't help that every corner of where I live sells it!

ReplyDeleteReminds me of college!!! Where did you go??
ReplyDeleteWasabi at the Columbiana mall in Columbia!
DeleteI'm so jealous!!! We don't have any place here that sells them. However, we did just get a frozen yogurt place and a Trader Joe's and Ulta are being built too!!!
ReplyDeleteYou girls are so cute!! Hope you have a great weekend too!!
ReplyDeleteYummy! Cute pictures, too!
ReplyDeleteThere are four places (that I know of) in the closest city (NONE in my town) that sells any kind of boba and only one of them is decently priced and yummy. I miss the boba place in Chicago for sure!
ReplyDeleteyou clearly need to come to seattle... :)
ReplyDeleteOh yummy! Bubble tea is soooo good! There's a place around the corner from me that sells it. It takes a lot of self control not to go over there everyday! My fave flavor is pineapple. Mmm!
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing of bubble tea but I've never tried it.. maybe I should!
