sheer joy in the name of cotton candy.

there is nothing like celebrating our country's freedom with family and friends - and on top of that free cotton candy. seriously, all you can grab at last night's fire work show. i was literally a kid in a candy shop - except the only candy was cotton candy and the candy shop was a heavenly red tent. can't you see the sheer joy on my face? that is sheer, child-like excitement. the fireworks and food is one thing - but the taste of that sugary goodness and the texture that is so light, it melts in your mouth? nothing like it.

and if you could see my face right now, my face is radiating with sheer joy - and probably continue to be in that state for the next few days because this face is headed to...wait for it...Georgia to be with the other face she loves seeing face to face! so for now, this face has more to say and to show (there are more fourth pics to share),  but i must finish packing and then try to get some sleep (if i can!).

much love.
{happy friday, friend.}

  14. You just reminded me that a few days ago I was drivin home and I saw a man walking down our street with one of those large poles (taller than himself I'm sure) with BAGS of cotton candy attached. I seriously almost pulled my car over and bought the whole thing. I REALLY hope he comes back regularly. I LOVE cotton candy and it's hard to find outside sporting arenas and fairs!
