  11. Sounds like such a productive day.

And your photo reminds me that I need to get my sewing machine out and do some sewing soon--but I am nervous, I sucked at textiles at school and so far have managed to break a needle, I am not sure how.

  12. Love your nail polish, miss snazzy. :)
I loved the first HG book, and can't wait to get my hands on copies of the second and third.
I've heard so many good reviews about Downton Abbey. Methinks I should watch it, eh?
Here are a couple of my favorite books:

-Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (loooong, but super good.)
-The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy
-The Giver trilogy by Louis Lowry

    that should get you started!

  18. I have _never_ had a Shamrock Shake. Is it vanilla? I've just never had the desire to consume a green milkshake. Maybe I need to give it a go this year?

  22. Wait, that song is by Fun? I saw them YEARS ago as an opening back at a concert and loved them, but because of their name had the worst time finding any info on them. How funny!

And I'm going through issues finding books to read right now too =-(

  23. Wait. Downton Abbey season 2 is available online? I totes just found the first season on Netflix less than a week ago...and have already finished it.

Actually what I really meant to say was congrats for getting yourself to TWO medical professionals in one week! I've been putting off even making an appointment to see a doctor (and I can make my appointments online) but I finally went ahead and scheduled it this week. I still have to find a dentist and an opthamologist in my city (I only moved 2.5 years ago...)

  25. What kind of sewing machine do you have?

We Are Young by Fun is a great song. I also like the Glee version. It reminds me of my NYC trip at Christmas.

  26. I'm all about that song too! Love!

  27. Not sure if you are still looking for something to read, but two books I can ALWAYS recommend are Kundera's The Unbearable Lightness of Being and Marquez' 100 Years of Solitude. Not chick lit, but absolutely WONDERFUL.
