a smashing good time.

ever since i heard about smashbooks from Dear Lizzy's, i became obsessed trying to find myself one. i used to spend hours scrapbooking in highschool (ha - i sounded like a grandma already back in the day, didn't i?). i had a mad love for paper crafts but as time has gone by, i haven't spent as much time with one of my first craft loves.

welp, i didn't have to look too far for smashbook. Ryan bought me my own to smash while i was in GA,  so of course, i was beyond stoked! i've gathered together my instax mini pics, letters, cardstock, stickers, stamps, happy tape, everything ready to be smashed. (i think i just really like saying that - smashed. now try it with a British accent. see? so fun!) i'm not very far into it, but i definitely plan to show it off some after i get most of the pages done. i'm thinking to do a bit of smashing this weekend! anyone else into smashing? if you have, i wanna see your pages (so pls. include the links in the comments!).

besides smashing, i'm planning to attend the Veteran's Day parade downtown with my family. daddy will be marching in his uniform. i am so thankful to him and to all the other men and women who have served our great country. i do not take their sacrifices for granted. may God bless America!

oh and did you notice - it's 11/11/11?! i love it! and i love that fact that we are officially a week away from Breaking Dawn.
you know i had to throw that in there for free.

much love.
[happy friday, friend.]
