california girl singing some super bass in georgia.

like i mentioned via twitter and some previous blog posts, i had the best time in GA with Ryan and his family. well, i always have the best time when i'm there because i'm together with my fiance. i love that boy like whoa. the days as always went by far too quickly but i soaked up every single second we got to share.

the boy and i are kinda crazy over shrimp - especially fried shrimp with a ton of tartar sauce, so he treated me out for some endless shrimp at red lobster. oh, my goodness. i was in shrimp heaven. fried shrimp. shrimp scampi. parmesean and garlic shrimp. shrimp pasta. you name it, they had it. and oh, the garlic bread...kill me now, was so good!

and yes, excuse our mug shots. i just love the fact that we were having dinner together, facing each other. long-distance makes you enjoy the little things even more - such as sitting across from each other at a meal.

and halloween night, we hung out with Boo the ghost in Ryan's front yard, enjoy a nice, brisk walk through the neighborhood while admiring the amazing autumn colors. and aren't Ryan's lil' neighbors the cuuutest?! i thought the vampire was pretty awesome (i kinda have a thing for them - ahem, november 18th is not that far for those of you that know what i mean!) - and you got to love the male cheerleader! all of them, too cute!

and last but not least, Ryan and i had didn't exactly go all out with our costumes but we still had fun with our headgear while passing out candy. my wig reminded me of either katy perry or nicki minaj, so i kept going between singing me some Super Bass or California Girls. you make the call on who i remind you of. maybe just a girl in a pink wig.

and folks, looks like the weekend is here - hooray!
guess what?! i'm doing something kinda crazy tonight - hanging out with my sister's youth group at their all night lock-in. i don't think i've stayed up all night since college, so let's see how it goes - but i'm looking forward to the craziness (we're gonna see some major coffee drinking action)! and with that said, i'm thinking saturday is gonna be a  much needed super lazy day.

much love.
[happy friday, friend.]

p.s. two sweet giveaways happening on the blog this week - Rouge and Whimsy & Shopkempt. you don't want to miss either!

  7. I know you can't wait for our Red Lobster to open. Every time we go to Charleston, that's where we eat. (I totally copied your denim look yesterday, including *my* poppy headband)

  8. I actually don't like shrimp, but that looks so tasty! Haha. I love to eat fried food but it's so bad, got to be a guilty pleasure indulgence! And I'd do with Minaj on the hair, you got that super bass!

  10. You guys are too cute. My husband and I are usually long distance due to the military so I know what you mean about the little things!! Your costume reminded me of a show on Nick Jr. called LazyTown. The main girl has the same hair :)
