 i had my birfday over da weekend.

(everybody raise your hands and say heeeey-hooooo!)

and can i say it was one of the best ones i've had?!

(i've had 27 bdays, so that's saying a lot.)

i didn't get to see my boy (due to a current lack of vehicle transportation - gah, long distance, have i mentioned how my hate for you is consistently growing?), but my baby seester definitely made it up with her awesome bday planning. our parents were out of town, so it was just me and her - totally sister, girl time - and it was the best! it involved lots of food, chick flicks, shopping, cake batter ice-cream (topped with cookie dough), and more food. i'll totally share the pics sometime this week - you especially have to see that heavenly scoop of cake batter ice-cream. absolutely divine. (let's just say 16-years of spoiling the baby of the family paid off - hehe.)

and i also got me some bday love via postal, including this rocking awesome dress from my blog bestie! she and i have been drooling over everything from the Reverie Market and she knew i was eyeing this lovely. isn't it the cutest thing? i'm love with the print and the ruffles. i think it's even gonna have to come along with me in the honeymoon suitcase. this dress is that good.
