dear ilene. you must try, try again. love, vintage scarf.

 top: belk / tank: f21 / shorts: GAP / rescue wedges: c/o Blowfish Shoes / vintage scarf: c/o E L Vintage

i did it, folks.
i finally got my hair all wrapped in a vintage scarf turned turban headband.
you won't believe how many times i've tried to get the look to work.
(i was determined to get it to work. i fell in love with this scarf ever since Emily sent it to me!)
and not totally sure if the look works...but it's up there and it stayed up there all day
(it's a week full of miracles, i tell ya.)
so this morning, i totally winged it...and the pretty scarf stayed put.
(and all of heaven rejoiced with me.

plus it's been so hot this week, that i think my hair and the scarf probably would have stayed put with how humid and sticky it's been. forget hairspray; however with the thickness of this hair, bobby pins' lives are lost for the sake of comfort and fashion. and whoa, i just realized that this is my second day in a row that i've chatted it up about hair. hmmm, a hairstyling blog. now that's would be a new twist to it. (har. har. bad pun.) still working on those hair tutorials for you, so we're gonna X that idea.

what are your favorite ways to wearing a vintage scarf?
totally link up your blogs in your comment if you have a tutorial to share!

much love.

  2. I love scarves too! My hair eats bobby pins, so I have to find new ways to get my hair to cooperate. Scarves and headbands are my go-to acccessories!
