tell us about whimsical poppysmic.

I have always been a crafter! I started knitting at about age 10 (my mom taught me) and I have always loved to sew! I love felt and everything whimsical. After showing some of my creations on my blog and the positive response (some readers even asked me, if they could buy my creations), I decided to open my own Etsy shop Whimsical Poppysmic in early December last year. Actually, Ilene gave me some great tips to get started and made it a lot easier for me - thanks again, Illy!!! 

I get my inspiration from all the places I go and always have a little moleskine with me to write down and sketch ideas where-ever I am!

what is your favorite thing to do 

in the Windy City?

I live in the suburbs of Chicago and I love going downtown! It's really hard to tell you my one favorite thing to do there, because there is just so much to do (Ilene knows best, since she has lived her herself)! But one thing I love is to sit somewhere with a chai tea latte and just watch the people and the city or go to the beach!

what is the last movie you saw in theaters?

The last movie I went to see was "The Diary of a Wimpy Kid" part 2 with my daughter Leonie during Spring Break, and it was hilarious! 

If you haven't seen it and like a good laugh, I recommend going, it was so much fun!

what is your favorite Starbucks beverage?

My favorite Starbucks beverage (I kinda already hinted it above...) is a chai tea latte!! 

I just love them!! So yummy!
