empty parking lots, playing house, and whoopie pies to die for!

top: forever 21 / cropped pants: aeropostle / tote bag: coach
earrings: francesca's / flats: jessica simpson / watch: fossil

after Creative Estates,  i got to spend some time in GA to visit Ryan and his family. he took these pictures of me in an empty parking lot besides a Rooms to Go where we played pretend and picked out furniture for our future home. it reminded me of one of my favorite scenes from the movie 500 days of summer where Zoe and Joseph (yeah, we're all on a first name basis) play house at ikea. though i guess it's not really pretend for us since we really are getting married soon enough and having a home together. it was fun to see what styles we agreed or disagreed with - but definitely more that we agreed on than i expected.

and oh my goodness, this has nothing to do with an empty parking lot or future house furniture, but isn't this Starbucks red-velvet, cream cheese whoopie pie the bomb-diggity?! ryan's mom gave my Easter basket early and it included 4 of these babies. and you're right. they are no longer in my basket. they are in my tummy - except for one that ended up in ashley's tummy because i'm a nice sister.

last but not least, i've been playing around with the blog layout so please imagine yellow and black tape with UNDER CONSTRUCTION written across it as i continue to make tweaks. thanks for your patience!

and you, friend?
i feel like the past week has been a little outta the norm with all the traveling.
what's new with you?
fill me in. i'd love to know!

much love.
[happy weekend, friend.]

p.s. don't forget about the two incredible giveaways going on now!
