blog buddies can become real life friends. hashtag creative estates.

the part of blogging that i never expected in a million years are the relationships that come out of it -
whether it means to keep in touch with family and friends you already know in real life
or actually meeting new people and getting to know them via blog-world.
people have asked me what is one of the highlights of Creative Estates and meeting these blog/twitter shop friends in real life is definitely at the top of the list!

i took tons of pictures at CE (duh, i'm a blogger) and i had promised to share more of them. wish i could share every single one, but then this poor ole blog might crash. photobucket and picassa might crash. and then there is my laptop and your laptop to worry about. so i'm gonna spare that tragedy for all of our sakes.

so i'm just gonna share some of my favorites.
but duuuuude, it was really hard to do.
plus there were some friends that i didn't even get a chance to snap pics with. sad face.
i just hope you get the feel that the time i spent in AZ was really as amazing as it was, probably more.

we got the chance to meet-up with Chelsea (of Tea Talk) and Cole (of Letters from Coco
at a nearby Mexican restaurant. both girls were super sweet and it was so cool to finally meet them both especially since i'd been reading their blogs for awhile now. we even got to meet Chelsea's sweet bf, Scott, who took all our pics for us. so nice!

and i also loved finally meeting Jacqui (my Chicago twin), Alison (you all know her - she's one of my incredible sponsors!),
Megan (total tweep-buddy and a shared obsession over Glee!)
and Katie (i called her Katie P all weekend 'cause that's how i knew her name via twitter).

loved also making some new friends like Nikki, Kristen, SheilaHolly, Jen! and of course, you all know Shey (and we're talking the Sheyb) she wasn't a "new" friend but it was awesome to finally meet this crazy woman face to face (i love her even more!). and duuuuude, i got to meet Becki of Whippy Cake and Megan of Brassy Apple, a couple of my favorite speakers at the conference.

and definitely some of my fave memories had to do with giggling and laughing and making goofy videos late into the night with my roommates - yeah, all five of us! ha - actually i roomed with Sandy and Kim, but then Moriah and Linds totally came over to join the party. i don't know why we didn't just all stay in one room. better planning for next year!

and oh my goodness - the Whippy Cakes - every single one of them is to die for!
talk about having a hard time deciding on one.
but good thing i decided on one 'cause me and these lovely ladies have an exciting up and coming project that we can't wait to share with you all soon enough!
and isn't Becki just adorable? i think everyone at CE wanted to be her best friend.

and on sunday morning, being the last few left in AZ (or so it felt 'cause it was oddly quiet compared to the rest of the weekend), Linds, Moriah and i headed out for some delish breakfast. oh, side note: we love bacon.

no one wanted to leave. can you tell?

at least i had a flight buddy, sweet Lori, to head back home with, so that neither of us had to make the long trek back home to the east coast. now that would have been depressing. this is us chilling out at the airport, enjoying free wi-fi and s-bucks. and we did sleep quite a bit on the 4-hour flight back but in between our cat naps, we got to process the conference and exchange thoughts on what we learned.

so what are you waiting for?
find your little piggy bank and start saving those pennies for next year's conference.
most importantly, keep up with those bloggity-blogging and tweep relationships.
you'll never know if one day you'll get the chance to meet them and to make some of your favorite memories.

and hey if you do, those memories become a pretty awesome blog post.
*wink*
much love.
[happy monday, friend.]

p.s. just one more day to enter Chrissy's uh-dorable giveaway!
and don't miss out on Le Mode's suh-weet giveaway happening here too!

  4. Looks like you had an amazing time at CE!

You know, finding friends through blogging was the LAST thing I ever expected. But there is such an awesome community out there, that once you connect with two, or three, or six people, you embrace the blessings.

Thanks for sharing you favorite pics!

I'm glad you were blessed and your pictures look so sweet. Is the conference ONLY for women with businesses? Or is it like a conference to promote your blog? lol sorry. I was a bit confused.
