like dorothy, in a field of red poppies. lots of them.

sweater, shorts: f21 / tights: target
boots: rampage / necklace: allorahandmade

are you feeling spring fever set in?! um, i am!! we hit the 80s last week, but dude, it's such a tease - since the temperatures are dropping uh-gain. but i know, i know. i shouldn't complain. 40s isn't cold compared to the rest of the country. i guess i always feel guilty for wanting more warm weather when i remember my old city, chi-town and my friends there.

at least with the cooler weather, i don't have to put away my colored tights and sweaters just yet. and the cooler weather won't stop me from wearing my allorahandmade necklace (yes, a constant, year-long obsession). so take that, freakin' winter!

and see these red poppies? i've been making hundreds and hundreds of them. i'm not even joking. it's exciting and overwhelming at the same time. i've been working on wholesale orders like a mad woman but also getting ready for Creative Estates so that i don't hate my life at the end of the month. i think my favorite part of making them (besides the poppy garlands themselves) is seeing them all grouped together or piled up high. doesn't it remind you of the wizard of oz? remember the part when dorothy was in the field of red poppies? that was one of my fave scenes as a kid.

i wonder if that was a sign. hehe.
much love.
[happy weekend, friend.]

  26. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is great blog.

An excellent read. I will certainly be back.
