learning to dance like i'm seventeen again + a giveaway winner!!!

top: belk / belt: f21 / jeans: aeropostle / wedges: belk, new direction

my sister almost wouldn't take these pictures of me.
she said she'd only take them if i changed my shirt.
she had a problem with my shirt as soon as i told her that i've had it since high-school.
she told me that was disgusting to have a shirt for that long.
i told her, "um, it's called vintage."
plus it's not like i haven't washed it since highschool.
and of course, that's hardly vintage but you get the idea.

and hey, didn't i tell you yesterday that i was doing the happy dance? the last couple of pictures of me are of some dance moves that ashley keeps trying to teach me. every day. and i can't seem to get them down. one is the dougie and the other is some move the biebs does on stage. i can't believe i risked ruining the tips of these wedges to attempt it.

so what do you have planned this weekend, friend? the sis and i are planning on a sister date to the movies, thinking about seeing I am Number Four. other than that, not too much on the agenda...just the way that i like it.

so i hope that whatever you have planned this weekend is either refreshing, spontaneous, or...just plain fun,
however you like to interpret fun.
and whether that entails singing Bruno Mars' Lazy Song or being a super productive, i hope it's a suh-weet weekend for you.

see that face above? yeah, that last one.
i'm telling ya, i'm serious.
have a good weekend.

much love.
[happy friday, friend.]

  8. I totally love that shirt! And you're wearing it so well! I have a couple shirts that have the date on them, like from high school sports or grad, and when they get pulled out, I have to admit I'm a little amazed and slightly embarrassed at how long I've had some things!
