excuse my mushy-ness. i just need a moment.

it's only be oh, 3 days since he headed back home.
but i miss him much-o.
can't wait to be married to this man and to not have to say good-bye.
we keep telling each other to think about those days in the future when we get be so sick of each other
so that we can better savor these days apart.
though i can't imagine that ever happening.
but we're realistic people so we know those days will come.
we also know that we're not perfect people or even the perfect couple.
but by God's grace we found each other.
and we're perfect for each other.
that i know.
and i'm beyond grateful for that.

much love.
[happy thursday, friend.]

p.s. don't forget shawni's sweet giveaway happening here today!
we're talking a $20 Sephora gift card. holla!

  2. I'm sorry you're sad. I know how hard it is, love! I've been in a long distance relationship for 3.5 years, but the end of the distance is in sight! Keep your chin up. Missing him is such a blessing when you think about it; it shows how much you love him. :)

  3. my husband and i were long distance for five years. we are now married and most importantly living in the same place! even though those years were hard, we wouldn't change a thing about our story. the distance taught us so much. i could go on but that would be quite long! for more, read 'the story of us' on my blog www.dreamonhaley.com

  21. I remember hating goodbyes, even though we were never long distance! The 30 minute drive to his school or parents' house was bad enough!

But you know what? It was worth every second of the wait, and after nearly two years, I still love getting to see him every single day. :)

  23. This was so sweet, sometimes saying goodbye brings you closer. Being married is amazing..you get a witness to your life...I mean sometimes you don't necessarily want a witness but hahaha Love your blog by the way..I am new to this and your shop inspires me :O)

  32. girl i know exactly how you're feeling and you are so right- it's tons of fun when you're married and you get to stay together always. leading up to our marriage, we prayed for it to be an easy transition- going from living in separate states and then separate apartments to then living in the same house. we just knew we would go crazy! but God honored our request and we really don't get tired of each other. don't get me wrong, we appreciate our times apart on occasion, but for us, living together and being married is like having a slumber party every night with your bestie!

  35. I remember the feeling!
And I can tell you that almost 3 years later, we haven't "gotten sick of each other." :-) I'm sure you won't either!
It is such an incredible blessing when God placed the Perfect One in your life! I can't wait until you're married, either! It is such a beautiful thing never to say goodbye! And good night kisses are so much better when no one has to go anywhere :-)

  40. After being in relationship with him for 3 years, he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should rather contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that never believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I mailed the spell caster, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened, that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him, that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the other ones out there. Anybody could need the help of the spell caster, lotto, his email is DRAISEDIONSPELLCASTER@OUTLOOK.COM you can email him if you need his assistance in your relationship or any other problem like wining lottery.
