passing [love] notes.

ryan passed this note to me in church last sunday.

"he who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord."
love, Ryan

like most typical males, when i said not to do something, he has a tendency to do the opposite.
i said not to take a picture of me 'cause it was the end of the day and i felt really gross and sweaty after walking around the city on a humid day.
so of course what happens?
he took a picture of me.

this pic does make me smile 'cause we were both laughing really hard.
love it.

then yesterday, he left me his apartment keys so that i could his work out center in his building while he went out with some friends. i walked into his apartment and there was this ever sweet and silly note on my shoes.
it made my afternoon.

it's fun to be in love and get giddy over little things - like notes.
i don't think i'll ever get tired of notes - whether small or big, fancy or simple.

have you received a special note from someone?
or do you need to maybe write one for someone else?
i think they mean more than emails and text nowadays, so be sure to jot down your thoughts right away.
happy note-writing!

  4. awwwww....love, love. love the ring! tell ryan shame on him for passing notes in church when he should be listnening to the message : ) lol! however, i think that note is very excusable because it's so super sweet! i write little notes on the kids and hubby's brown lunch paper bags : ).

  5. Aw, this is sweet!
And yes, I adore notes, of any kind. ha ha Thomas and I were saying just the other day that we both (unbeknownst to the other) have been saving little things the other wrote, like he saved a grocery list I wrote, and I saved a doodle-drawing he made on my church bulletin...everything!
